Wishlist privacy

Last updated October 2026 · plain language, no lawyer voice

This is a one-page wishlist for a not-yet-released app. It exists to collect an email list and some feature votes. That’s the whole point of the data collection.

This page is about the wishlist site only. Looking for the desktop app’s own privacy policy (what Nudge itself sends over the network once installed)? See the app’s privacy policy.

What it collects

What it does not collect

Why, and the legal basis

To email you once when early access opens, and to decide which features to build first. If you’re in a place where it matters: the basis is your consent (joining the list) and our legitimate interest in prioritising the roadmap.

Who processes it

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared for anyone else’s marketing.

Cookies and local storage

One cookie (nudge_ab, a single letter, one year) for the A/B test. In your browser’s local storage: your chosen display currency, a flag that you’ve joined, and the email you joined with, so voting on a suggestion does not ask for it again. For the length of one visit, session storage remembers whether you came from the landing page. No third-party or advertising cookies.

How long it’s kept

Until launch plus a short window to send the launch email, or until you ask for removal, whichever comes first. If Nudge is cancelled, the list is deleted.

Your choices

Email hello@nudgelauncher.com (or reply to any email from us) to see what’s stored about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

Changes

If this policy changes before launch, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Nothing here is retroactive.
